antonmog Matt can be heard here playing a simple 3 string slide acoustic cigar box guitar with verve and passion. The tracks hint heavily to American blues and African, Japanese and European folk but never sticking rigidly to these tropes.
As with most of matts work there is a strong element of soundtrack ambience even with this the simplest of instruments Matt has opted for a no-frills production too, you can hear the interaction between player and instrument which immerses the listener into the moment.
