Always wanted to record a guitar instrumental album, so decided to finally take to the studio and record some tracks.

I didn't want to make this just a shred album, rather a more melodic and feel good affair combining the slide guitar and normal fingered guitar with a couple of tracks aimed more at something a little more technical but each tracks focus was that of melody.

This is not an album I thought I would ever be able to do, not only since developing both Fibromyalgia and arthritis, but also after years of being unable to fret the guitar or play, I was mentally in a bad place completely cut off from being able to feel and write music.

This album represents my journey back to the light so to speak, as I had felt trapped for so long, having the ability to play music, but not the physicality or the mental strength anymore in order to do it.

So, for me, it was quite the journey this last year trying to re learn the guitar, teaching my fingers the muscle memory needed again, but not just that, to be able to feel music, to enjoy it again on a level both musically and spiritually.

And so, I present to you all Back From The Wild, a guitar instrumental album of seven tracks that I am very proud of and hope you the listener enjoy this album as much as I did making it.

It is not always a guarantee in life that we can do the things we love to do, but I am deeply thankful to have had the chance to record this album whilst my hands have some life still in them.
